POSITION OVERVIEW
The Business Unit Leader provides leadership, coordination, supervision, and oversight of the field and support operations. This leader often acts as a client interface and problem solver. As a leader, you will be responsible for developing and managing department operations within the entire company and guiding and instructing new and existing personnel. This individual will be responsible for the overall effectiveness and profitability of the department. This is an opportunity to lead a team of great people toward great results. We are looking for a well-rounded, customer-focused professional to help shape the future of our company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Operational leadership experience
· Proven experience managing all aspects of the profit and loss of a department.
· Responsible for leading the department towards set production, revenue, and profit goals.
· Ensure new team members are oriented to the expectations of the Company.
· Assess the competency and capability of personnel by providing coaching and training.
· Evaluate the capability and results, ensuring that personnel meet quality workmanship standards and expectations.
· Experience with hiring, training, and managing team members.
· Set and maintain work standards and outline behavioral expectations to ensure employee morale and productivity.
· Maintain a record of achieving a high level of Customer Satisfaction
· Delegate responsibility and maintain follow-up for assessment of results.
· Promote, support, and facilitate teamwork and foster a positive environment.
· Proven experience as a Department Leader or similar executive role
