Job Summary:
The Credit Analyst will be responsible for the investigation and analysis of credit risks while working within guidelines established by the company.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare loan presentations for approval using the bank’s current analysis software to Loan Committees and to individual loan officers.
- Prepare loan reviews for Senior Loan Committee review.
- Attend meetings with existing and prospective loan customers.
- Assist lenders in any collection activities as needed.
- Update financial information and risk information.
- Assist all lending personnel in compliance.
- Prepare troubled asset reports.
- Assist in credit card administration and underwriting.
- Willingness for ongoing training and development.
- Maintain keen knowledge of bank’s loan policy.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred but not required.
- 1+ years customer service experience.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Commercial & Ag lending and/or Credit Analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and phone.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks.
- Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
