The Manager – Technology Digital Risk and Compliance will support the Head of Technology Digital Performance and Governance, Chief Information and Digital Office who is responsible for steering the Technology Digital function to optimise performance, manage risk, and ensure adherence to governance and compliance standards. 

  

The Manager – Technology Digital Risk and Compliance will manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, uplift risk and compliance management maturity and capability, manage risks and issues, provide advice on policies and standards, conduct controls monitoring and assurance, develop reporting for Management and Board Committees, and assist the Head of Technology Digital Performance and Governance on other risk and compliance related activities when required.  

  

On a day-to-day basis you can expect to: 

  • Champion a highly collaborative, transparent, and proactive risk and compliance culture across Technology Digital through effective stakeholder engagement, awareness, and accountability 

  • Develop and implement an effective Technology Digital Risk Management Framework which aligns to the principles and practices of the Lendlease Enterprise Risk Management Framework  

  • Establish a Technology Digital risk and issue management process and technology solution to allow for the proactive identification, assessment, and management of risks that can materialise across the value chain  

  • Establish and maintain a register of all Technology Digital legal, regulatory or business specific compliance requirements, and contribute to the development and implementation Technology Digital policies and standards to ensure embedment and adherence at all levels 

  • Provide guidance to stakeholders including third parties on Technology Digital risks and issues ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment in a clear, concise, and actionable manner 

  • Establish and maintain a library of all Technology Digital risks and controls and implement a technology solution to house the risk and control library 

  • Monitor and review Technology Digital risks and controls and contribute to the risk and control self-assessment process 

  • Develop regular reports highlighting key trends, insights, and actionable recommendations and define key risk indicators and metrics to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of Technology Digital risk and compliance initiatives 

  • Develop presentations and dashboards for various Forums and Committees such as the Monthly Digital Risk Forum and Enterprise Information Management Committee  

  • Partner effectively with senior leaders, third party providers, and business units including stakeholders across legal, enterprise risk and compliance, and internal audit to support and promote an effective Three Lines of Defence model 

  • Stay abreast of Technology Digital regulatory change initiatives and emerging best practices 

  

Your recent professional experience should demonstrate capability or knowledge in the following areas: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or related discipline 

  • Proven experience in risk and compliance or equivalent role (audit and assurance) across Digital and Technology in large complex organisations and/or outsourced Digital Technology environments 

  • Strong understanding of risk management, compliance management, control assurance, and Digital Technology operations  

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Digital and Technology legal/regulatory requirements, industry frameworks, standards, and best practice 

  • Exceptional ability to actively listen, synthesis complex information, and respond accurately 

  • Excellent written, verbal communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills 

  • Ability to work effectively in a high change, growing maturity environment, drive structure where it does not yet exist, and ability to be adaptable in approach 

  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems, identify trends, assess potential impacts, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines  

  • Demonstrate a strong ownership mindset to progress work without direction  

  • Strong project management and change management experience 

  • Demonstrated experience implementing processes, systems, or tools requiring engagement and collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups 

  • Proven experience in delivering presentations, dashboards, and Executive reports 

  • Confident communicator and ability to influence and develop and maintain constructive relationships at all levels
