Job Summary
The Company operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting and ending times, and hours worked in a week.
Complies with all guest service basics, such as uniforms, name tags, and proper guest greetings. Knowledgeable about hotel facilities and services to assist guests as appropriate. Ensures all communication containing Company, hotel, brand, and guest information is consistent with privacy policies, practices, and regulations. Strive to exceed guest expectations with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform and be proficient in all facials and certain spa services offered by the spa, following the specific protocol for each service.
- Prepare the treatment room with appropriate equipment, supplies, and music prior to each treatment.
- Read the facial intake form for each client, ask, and answer appropriate questions, and provide information as needed for the education, comfort and safety of the client.
- Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties.
- Suggest and sell retail products to guests.
- Have knowledge of and suggest to the guests’ other beneficial treatments offered in the spa.
- Educate oneself on the ingredients of products used.
- Complete all assigned side work.
- Attend all mandatory staff meetings.
- Keep work areas clean and set according to procedures.
- Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties.
- Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance.
- Inform Spa Director or Salon Manager of product needs.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to provide all Cascade Spa facial treatments and services as outlined in Policy/Procedure Manual.
- Must consult with client regarding their skin type and proper facial offering.
- Availability to work Weekends and Holidays

Skills Required:
The Company may consider an equivalent combination of acceptable education and experience, providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities cited below.
Education and Experience: Current Esthetician license issued by NH Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. Minimum 1 year experience as an esthetician. Resort experience preferred. HydraFacial Certified preferred. Must be skilled in facial protocols, waxing and body treatments. Luxury retail cosmetics experience preferred.
Must hold a current NH Cosmetology license. A minimum of 1 year experience in the medical, salon or spa industry. Current CPR certification is preferred. High school education or equivalent experience.
Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of guest services and retail inventory. Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficient.
Working Conditions & Physical Effort:
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination· Must meet the physical requirements of being able to perform cosmetic services, including but not limited to standing, bending and fluid use of arms and hands utilized to perform necessary nail, make-up, waxing and hair services. Work is normally performed in an interior hotel environment. While performing job duties, the associate speaks, listens, completes documents, processes requests, and operates office equipment such as a telephone, calculator, computer, copier, and fax. Physical requirements include extended periods of standing and/or walking, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The job requires close vision with or without corrective lenses. This position may be required to operate a motor vehicle.
