WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Prepare fresh pasta doughs, fillings, and shapes according to recipes and chef specifications.
• Cook, chill, and store pasta using correct procedures to ensure quality and food safety.
• Assist in the preparation of sauces, garnishes, and accompaniments for pasta dishes.
• Accurately follow standardized recipes and portion guidelines.
• Set up and stock the pasta station with tools, equipment, and mise en place before service.
• Support line cooks and chefs during service by executing pasta dishes efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
• Properly label, date, and store all prepared items to ensure freshness and safety.
• Perform closing duties, including breakdown, cleaning, and secure storage of products.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding product quality, shortages, and station needs.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Prior culinary experience in a professional kitchen preferred; pasta-making experience a plus but not required.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
• Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions precisely.
• Effective time management and organizational skills in a high-volume environment.
• Commitment to consistency, quality, and food safety.
• Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
