The Opportunity
The Senior CRM Designer plays a crucial role within the Creative and Content team, supporting the Creative Lead by ownership of CRM design across our brand portfolio. CRM is a core channel within our marketing strategy so this is a pivotal role for someone who can confidently lead, elevate, and innovate in this space.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring best-in-class design standards across all CRM communications, from automated flows to promotional campaigns. You’ll work closely with the Creative Lead, other designers in the team as well as cross functional stakeholders to ensure CRM output is not only visually excellent but also highly performant, platform-appropriate, and insight-driven.
This is a full time, permanent role with hybrid working. You will be expected on site in our Shoreditch offices twice per week, with the rest of the time spent working from home.
What you'll do
- Lead CRM design across all brands and touchpoints, ensuring visual consistency, platform best practice, and high performance.
- Further develop, maintain, and consolidate a scalable CRM design system in Figma. Including modular templates, components, and documentation to enable efficient and consistent campaign delivery across brands.
- Provide guidance and support to junior designers in the team, fostering their professional growth and skill development. Encourage a collaborative and learning-focused team environment.
- Apply a working knowledge of CRM tools (e.g. Braze, Litmus) to ensure accurate rendering across devices and clients. Understand technical constraints like image blocking, responsive behaviour, and dynamic content.
- Implement strong ways of working across CRM design from briefing to delivery. Recommend test opportunities, help establish QA and review processes, ensure stakeholder feedback is actioned by the team, and drive continual improvement in how we deliver CRM campaigns.
- Build productive working relationships with stakeholders across CRM, NPD and Brand, supporting the Creative Lead in aligning design outputs with business objectives.
- Leverage insights from performance analytics, A/B test results, and stakeholder feedback to continuously iterate and improve creative outputs.
What you'll bring to HeliosX
- Confident in taking a creative concept or direction and expanding it into a compelling, visually consistent CRM campaign. Able to manage multiple projects, campaign narratives and visual ideas to life across CRM touchpoints.
- Fluent in Figma and working knowledge of CRM platforms and email design processes. Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse designer team while managing expectations and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in CRM and Creative
- Demonstrated experience designing high-performing CRM campaigns, with deep knowledge of email UX, responsive design, and content hierarchy.
- Able to interpret CRM performance data and translate insights into actionable design improvements.
