The S/4HANA Quality Management (QM) Solution Consultant – APAC Hub is a key role,  responsible for the design, configuration, and deployment of quality processes across global manufacturing and supply chain operations. This position requires deep expertise in S/4HANA QM, covering quality planning, inspection, and quality notifications, and must support both process and discrete manufacturing industries.

The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in SAP QM, working closely with global business and IT teams to ensure the delivery of standardized, compliant, and efficient quality management solutions across inbound, in-process, and outbound scenarios.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA QM processes across quality planning, inspection lot creation, results recording, usage decision, and quality notifications.
  • Support end-to-end quality scenarios, including goods receipt inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection, and customer complaint management for discrete and process manufacturing.
  • Ensure integration of QM with other SAP modules, including MM, PP, EWM, SD, and PM, and ensure seamless handoffs across production and logistics processes.
  • Design and implement quality inspection setup with inspection plans, sampling procedures, master inspection characteristics, MICs, and dynamic modification rules.
  • Act as a single point of contact for QM-related topics across project phases
  • Drive alignment with global templates, while accommodating regional legal and compliance requirements, including regulated environments (e.g., ISO, FDA, GMP).
  • Support system testing including unit tests, integration tests, UAT, and coordinate defect resolution in close collaboration with business users.
  • Lead data readiness and migration of quality master data such as inspection plans, MICs, catalogs, and quality info records.
  • Ensure effective cutover planning and hypercare support to enable smooth go-lives and business continuity.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, digital quality reporting, and adoption of Fiori apps or embedded analytics for real-time quality KPIs.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality or Information Technology.
  • 7+ years of experience in SAP, with at least 2+ years hands-on in S/4HANA Quality Management.
  • Proven track record in delivering quality processes in both discrete and process industries, including integration with production and warehouse systems.
  • Strong understanding of quality master data, inspection lots, notifications, and defect management.
  • Experience in managing quality processes in regulated manufacturing environments is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with tools like Fiori apps, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and workflow-based quality notifications preferred.
  • Participation in global template-driven rollouts or large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation projects is highly desirable.
  • SAP QM certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills

Knowledge of ITSM and Solution Manager is preferred
