Help shape the future as a Commercial Insurance Product Management Lead.
For over 165 years, CGU has been insuring ambition. Part of Insurance Australia Group (known as IAG), we’re a leading commercial, rural and personal lines insurer and a top-three provider of workers compensation insurance.
Your Role
Joining the CGU Underwriting & Product Team, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing an operational plan for end-to-end lifecycle management of individual products and entire product classes, independent of brand, aligned with the department’s overall product strategy. By leveraging comprehensive data and research, you’ll guide product improvements to meet strategic goals.
In addition to managing product lifecycles, your role influences the definition of strategy and vision for both individual products and whole product classes, including pricing strategies, underwriting rules, and governance frameworks. You’ll lead the identification and implementation of business improvements across the product portfolio and supports cross-functional coordination with marketing, distribution, digital teams, and other stakeholders. This role also ensures adherence to risk compliance and promotes a customer-centric culture across the division.
Working closely with multiple teams and stakeholders, you’ll significantly impact product performance and profitability across IAG’s portfolio. The role demands strategic thinking, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to balance innovation with regulatory requirements, while fostering collaboration across departments to achieve business objectives and enhance overall product effectiveness.
This is a Max Term Contract opportunity, and we welcome applicants from Gadigal Country (Sydney) and Naarm (Melbourne).
