The Role
As the HR Coordinator, you will work closely with the Human Resources & Learning team across the Asia Pacific region, providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes and compliance with local regulations. This is a key role which will assist the team to execute initiatives that seek to provide a positive employee experience and support the firm’s people strategy to attract and retain the best talent.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the on-boarding of new employees, preparing letters, ensuring all new joiner materials, security and compliance checks are completed
- Coordinate new joiner inductions to support the integration and successful on-boarding of new employees
- Ensure probations are effectively managed including occurrence of mid-probation reviews.
- Coordinate exit meetings
- Monitor employee leave requests and ensure leave is recorded and approved in the firm’s leave approval system
- Support the HR Business Partners and HR Manager with administrative functions
- Reconcile invoices relating to the HR Budget
This is a full-time position, based in our Melbourne office.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a HR role, preferably in legal but not required
- At least one year of experience involved in administrative tasks such as payroll processing, development of training programs and employee database management
- A confident communicator with the ability to engage with a varied employee and stakeholder audience
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders
