Sime Industrial is seeking an experienced Lead Facilitator – Safety to join our Group Safety team. This is a permanent, full-time role based out of our Acacia Ridge office.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for leading by example—delivering high-impact safety and leadership training, building strong relationships with operational leaders and safety teams, and coordinating a high-performing facilitator group to ensure effective training delivery across our Australasian business.
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitate and deliver core safety and behavioural leadership programs to operational and frontline teams
- Build trusted partnerships with site leaders and safety teams to ensure training is timely, relevant, and embedded
- Proactively identify training needs and opportunities to support the field through strong stakeholder relationships
- Lead scheduling and coordination of national and regional training delivery to meet business demand
- Support facilitators with planning, logistics, and delivery, including troubleshooting issues in the field
- Model excellent facilitation practice and provide informal coaching and peer support to your team
- Ensure delivery consistency, quality, and accurate reporting through LMS and internal systems
- Champion a culture of learner focus, responsiveness, and continuous improvement within the training team

About You
You are a confident, self-directed facilitator with a passion for safety and a strong delivery mindset. You take initiative, build strong operational relationships, and are equally comfortable facilitating a session or helping others plan for one.
A successful applicant will have experience in:
- 5+ years’ experience delivering safety or leadership programs in operational or high-risk environments
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with frontline leaders and influence positive outcomes
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116)
- Experience coordinating training schedules, reporting, and using LMS platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors)
- Strong group facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to lead by doing
