International FMCG company PZ Cussons currently has an exciting opportunity for a creative and commercially minded Marketer to join the team on a 6 month contract as a Brand Manager to work on some exciting and innovative cross functional projects across our Beauty and Personal Care portfolio.

The Role

This 6 month contract role will suit an early career Brand Manager

looking for a genuine career development opportunity or you may be a talented and highly experienced Assistant Brand Manager ready for a new challenge! Either way, you will have an affinity for high quality brands and experience in Project and Brand Management. You will need to be commercially savvy with a strong understanding of the FMCG landscape and/or the Pharmacy customer.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Assist in developing & articulating winning strategies for Beauty and Personal Care brands, including long term 3-year plans

· Lead the implementation of the marketing aspects of the growth plans, ensure excellent timely and cost compliant execution.

· Work with global brand owners to ensure key initiatives can be deployed to advance growth in ANZ

· Work closely with the Sales team to establish strategies to win with key customer partners. Key participant in category review process and customer engagement sessions

· Work within the A&P budget to produce the best communication solutions & promotional program delivery

· Ensure delivery of all key financial KPIs for relevant brands

· Deliver the sales and market share goals

· Develop & deliver all stage-gate projects & marketing communication plans

· Support commercial governance of relevant brands including review of the portfolio P&L and contribution through the IBP process

Qualifications and experience

To be the successful candidate you will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing/Business/Commerce and ideally have 2 -3+ years' experience as a Brand Manager/experienced Assistant Brand Manager or equivalent role, preferably in FMCG environment.

You will have a high level of attention to detail and love managing projects. Along with Brand management and marketing functional experience, covering project management & creative development, you will have managed integrated communication strategies and have some P&L management. You will also have experience in developing key messages for presenting to trading partners

· Commercial acumen and ability to drive performance and delivery of results

· Collaborative operational approach which builds trust and enables effective development of relationships across functions
