About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operator to join our Day Services team at our Cataby operation.
This is a site-based permanent position, working a 7/7 12-hour dayshift roster.
Your accountabilities will be:
Operating various Mobile and Fixed Plant equipment
Conducting site grounds maintenance activities whilst also addressing hazards in a safe and efficient manner
Management of tailings areas, including dewatering of ponds with management of pumps
Poly welding (butt and electrofusion) of slurry and water pipes
Thickness testing of pipe
Installation of signage around site
Mining unit infrastructure relocations
Site inspections
General duties including fence removal and installation
Undertake Civil works - Culvert installation
About You
To be successful for this role, you will have:
Front end-loader / Skid steer / Forklift licenses / HR licence is desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a small team
An ability to adapt to changes in work priorities to respond to production requirements
Demonstrated commitment to further training and skills development
C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
