MARKETING PROJECT MANAGER

Location: San Antonio, TX (preferred). Remote flexibility may be considered. 


SUMMARY

The Marketing Project Manager leads a team focused on supporting community marketing operations through effective and highly-paced project management. This role enhances marketing productivity and efficiency by overseeing the community onboarding/offboarding process. Responsibilities include managing our preferred vendor and agency contracts, our variable support team, our marketing ticketing system and helpdesk, leading marketing audits, managing workflows, analyzing support data, and leveraging AI-driven tools. The position requires strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as a commitment to providing effective support to our communities and achieving marketing excellence.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, develop and provide professional growth opportunities for a team of Marketing Assistants, while supporting the broader Corporate Marketing directives.
  • Manage the marketing support function to ensure efficiency, timeliness, process optimization, and seamless onboarding and offboarding of communities.
  • Oversee and ensure timely resolution of issues with the marketing ticketing system and helpdesk, as well as oversight of the variable support team, while also performing trend analysis and process improvements to enhance community-level support.
  • Enhance marketing execution across the portfolio by identifying, documenting, and scaling best practices to maximize impact and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Implement and utilize AI-driven tools and technologies to automate marketing tasks, personalize customer experiences, and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Conduct/Oversee marketing audits to identify areas for improvement, ensure brand adherence, enhance marketing consistency and effectiveness, and address any gaps or areas of improvement in current processes.
  • Utilize project management tools to manage projects, track workflows, send updates, and improve cross-functional coordination.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, vendors, and materials, to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that marketing support aligns with business goals and enhances community-level marketing performance.
  • Proactively identify and address common challenges by analyzing support trends and performance metrics to optimize workflows and drive continuous improvement.
  • Build lasting partnerships with internal teams, vendor partners, and stakeholders to position the marketing support team as a key strategic asset in achieving business objectives.

Requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or project management, preferably within the multifamily or real estate industry.
  • Proven experience in managing projects and coordinating multiple marketing initiatives. Completion of Project Manager certification program is preferred.
  • Knowledge of residential multifamily community management marketing strategies, including digital, print, and social media marketing.    
  • Knowledge of real estate market dynamics, leasing trends, and resident demographics.    
  • Skilled in CRM platforms, property management systems, and digital marketing tools.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring a team.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and practices, including digital, print, and social media marketing.
  • Familiarity with real estate market dynamics, leasing trends, and resident demographics.
  • Proficient in project management software, CRM platforms, community management systems, and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and motivate others.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.
