Overview
Director of Facilities
RiverWoods Manchester is seeking an individual with a passion to work and lead in a service-driven environment at our Continuing Care Retirement Community. This person will be responsible for managing all day-to-day operations of the Facilities, Housekeeping, and Security Departments, working in both our Independent Living and Healthcare buildings. We are seeking someone with excellent technical skills, a cooperative and supportive leadership style, and will have a passion for providing exceptional services to our residents and staff. The Director will create an employment experience that fosters and supports employee learning, professional growth, development, and continuous training with a focus on innovative strategies to increase efficiencies.

Responsibilities
- Articulate a vision for facilities as it relates to current and future residents’ needs and expectations; see the inter-relationships between operational performance and creating community experiences for residents and staff.
- Oversees maintenance, housekeeping, and security teams
- Plays an integral role in vendor and community relations
- Be present, active, and engaged with residents daily. You and your team will be in their homes and understanding the respect and importance of this is key.
- Ensure that all local, State, and Federal requirements as well as all life safety operations are met in all building operations
- Oversee the Preventative Maintenance program for the community
- Responsible for the development and management of capital and operational budgets as well as negotiation of supplier agreements
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience working in a residential facility (health care environment preferred) with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory role
- 2-Year trade certificate or equivalent years of service in this industry or one directly related. Business degree or Director of Facilities certificate is preferred.
- Solid project management experience
