PROGRAM ACQUISITION SUPPORT ANALYST (Req 25 058)
Department: Program Management Contract Location: Virginia Beach, VAResponsibilities: Serve as an organizational SME on the DoD 5000 series, to support planning of the Dam Neck Activity (DNA) to develop program plans and navigate the Acquisition process. This includes expertise on the DoD Directive 5000.01, The Defense Acquisition System; and DoD Instruction 5000.02, Operation of the Defense Acquisition System. This position will help advise on topics such as determining acquisition categories (ACATs), using the DoD Instruction 5000.02 Enclosure 3, as well as helping DNA understanding reporting requirements and artifacts for Major Defense Acquisition programs (MDAPs) and Major Automated Information Systems (MAISs).
Education: Bachelor�s degree from an accredited institution as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in any discipline.
Allowable Substitution: Master�s degree from an accredited institution as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in any discipline and eight (8) years of relevant experience.
Experience: Ten (10) years professional experience in DoD and/or DoN large acquisition management support.
Other: An Active Secret Security Clearance is required and a Top Secret Clearance is preferred. Preferred qualifications include Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management Level II or higher or completion of the Acquisition Management Units of Competency under current DAU/DAWIA guidelines, and DAWIA Engineering and Technical Management (formerly SPRDE) Level II or higher.
