Normandy Schools Collaborative is seeking an Assistant Cheerleader Coach that will promote the stype of sportmanship that will help students acquire the basic attributes of good citizenship. The coach should help develop a wholesomes school spirit; loyalty to their school and team regardless of the outcome of the contest; and promote a cooperative spirit between the student body, the faculty, and the school administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the information in the Student Activities Program Procedures Guide and the implementation of the policies /procedures/goals therein.
- Complete MSHSAA rules meeting as required.
- Organizing, schedule, and attending all assigned practices.
- Supervise the fitting and ordering of uniforms.
- Supervise cheerleaders at all High School football games, basketball games, pep rallies, and other activities to which cheeleaders are assigned.
- Prepare for competitions
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and/or MSHSAA Requirements for Athletic Coaches Special
Knowledge/Skills:
- General knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures
- Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
