External Salary Range: $56,253.35 - $63,946.40 (Steps 1-4)

The internal salary range is used for applicants who are current NJ state employees with underlying classified status for promotional calculations who meet the requirements below. 

The external salary range is used for candidates who are not NJ state employees who meet the requirements below. 

Position Summary:

Advancement Services provides the general infrastructure to the Division of College Advancement and its enterprise system. Key functions of this department are to facilitate the gift processing, fundraising, constituent tracking, relationship management, fund management and stewardship. All of these activities largely position the external facing colleagues - fundraisers, college relations and alumni affairs staff - for success in developing relationships with donors, prospects, volunteers and other college supporters.

The Financial Reporting and Stewardship Coordinator is responsible for preparing, maintaining and distributing regular foundation fund balance reports for leadership, development officers, and academic/administrative partners. The incumbent will help support and maintain the tracking process of gift acknowledgments, recognition and on-going communications of current and past major donors.

Main Responsibilities:

·         Must provide support for all stewardship activities including event planning, scholarship recipient engagement, and donor impact reports.

·         The incumbent must sustain positive relationships with development of collaborative partnerships between College staff and its key supporters and volunteers.

·         Must also compose professional and tailored communications, compile invitation lists, and prepare remarks and program materials.

·         Will support the design and documentation of a system of endowment and restricted financial impact reports.

·         The candidate must also demonstrate experience with project and event management to ensure timely execution of programmatic and donor events.

·         This role will also support the data processor with biographical updates in the Raiser's Edge CRM as well as input into the Scholarship Management platform so a solid understanding of navigating databases is preferred.

·         

Department support:

·         Reviewing daily gifts entries against donor intent to confirm correct entry

·         Acknowledging major gifts

·         Monthly reports : pledge reminders, deans fund balances

·         Reviewing and processing Foundation transfer requests, journal entries and check requests.

·         Scholarship thank you letter management and recipient data entry into CRM database and Scholarship Management platform.

·         Compilation of Stewardship Impact Report and calendar year end tax letters.

·         Data entry into Raiser's Edge CRM and other duties as assigned to support the department.

Works Independently:

 

·         Supervision of student workers/CEI intern

Required Qualifications:  

·         Data entry into Raiser's Edge CRM and other duties as assigned to support the department.

·         Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) , Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets and Drive), and CRM Databases

·         Profound attention to detail

·         Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, etc.

·         Willingness to collaborate and pivot as needed.

Education and/or Experience: -

o    Bachelor’s Degree required

o    At least 2-5 years of working experience in Higher Education/Non-profit management ideal

o    Experience planning social events for high net worth individuals

o    Strong writing skills; Experience drafting donor/client letters

o    Software experience including Microsoft office, Google Suite, and Raiser's Edge or other CRM.
