Compiles schedules for Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants for all shifts in Palace, Tradition, MC AL and Resnick buildings to ensure proper staffing levels are achieved.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
? Study schedules and staffing patterns to ascertain personnel requirements by utilizing OnShift
? Compiles and oversees work schedule for nursing staff. Responsible for coordinating days off, holidays, vacations, with the needs of the Individual buildings through OnShift
? Responsible for ensuring that positions are filled for the individual buildings when staff call in ill, during the hours they are scheduled to work
? Adjusts schedules to meet emergencies caused by extended leave or increased staffing demands
? Performs duties so as to achieve proper utilization of staff and thereby minimize the need for overtime
? Update Nursing Dept. phone list as needed
? Responsible for adhering to staffing patterns mandated by local, State and Federal regulations
? Answers telephones and responds to questions. Transfers necessary calls to appropriate personnel
? Provides administrative support to the Traditional Nursing Office
? Maintains strict confidentiality with regards to all information that this position knows regarding staff, correspondence, meetings, etc., that this information is privileged information due to the sensitivity of the position
