Successfully directs clinical and operation activities for all clinics within the designated region through recruiting, retaining, leading, monitoring and supporting an excellent team of clinic managers/supervisors and high-quality, well-trained clinicians.

Assists the Director, Outpatient Counseling Services in the development of clinical quality, clinician performance, clinic operations accuracy and financial performance measurements and ensures these are effectively communicated and implemented within clinics.


Job Responsibilities:

· Actively participates in the development of effective business plans for clinical programs and services including plans to increase the range, quality and quantity at Astor.

· Represents clinics in all internal and external audits, working with agencies to provide all necessary information and resolve any issues noted. 

· Continually monitors performance to all quality and performance metrics and works with clinic management to meet or exceed all measures.

· Implements procedures for the timely and regular collection of feedback from both clinic staff (clinicians and administrative) and clients. Reviews feedback and modifies procedures as needed to increase satisfaction while maintaining organizational and divisional requirements and goals. Present recommendations for policy or higher-level procedural changes for Executive Review

· Fully understand the budgetary goals for each clinic. Implements effective controls and regular monitors claims remittance, denial and write off metrics to assess clinic financial performance. Works with clinic management to improve revenue performance within each 

· Assists in the development of clinical materials, manuals, presentations and other documents to improve clinic operations and clinician performance. In concert with training leadership, ensure clinical staff within the region receive the necessary training and materials to effectively perform their responsibilities.

· Implements divisional directives for use of multidisciplinary approach, evidenced based treatment and standardized assessments to ensure high quality service and effective treatment planning.

· Directs cross functional teams in organizational initiatives and major projects, reports progress and ensures overall success.

· Conducts weekly direct supervision to Clinic Managers and directly-reporting Clinic Supervisors to review clinic performance and any issues and provide guidance. 

· Conducts on-site visits as each clinic monthly to directly assess staff and facilities. Documents any corrective action needed and review with the Clinic Manger or directly-reporting Clinic Supervisor.

· Conducts performance reviews for all direct reports according to organization schedules and procedures. Reviews all performance reviews for clinic employees prior to evaluations to ensure consistency across clinics and accuracy of ratings with metric-based performance results.

· Prepares and submits OMH reports according to specifications and required schedules.

· Collaborates with other Astor leadership within other programs to expand knowledge of organization services, share best practice information, assist with expansion planning and assist where possible in improving overall organizational performance. 

· Researches and presents opportunities for regional service expansion to Senior Leadership. Manages expansion of sites and/or services as directed.

· Collaborate directly with the Front Office Manager in the development of effective procedures and controls for front desk staff at all clinic facilities and within central scheduling to ensure front office staff effectively supports clinicians in serving clients and achieving quality and fiscal performance goals.

· Attends and actively participates in regional and local community government and civic meeting and events to understand issues that may impact clinical services or operations and to promote Astor services and programs.

· Gains increasing levels of proficiency of the Astor Electronic Health Record system though training and testing to determine all possible automated support for improved clinical operations and clinician ease of use.

Requirements

You must have:

· LCSW or LMHC-D.


You should have:

· Supervisor experience preferred.
