You are invited to submit an application to be considered for a position with more than one opening. Drew University accepts applications for Adjunct Instructor (Exempt) positions throughout the year for courses offered in all departments and programs in the College of Liberal Arts.

 

Course Details: On a part-time basis, Adjunct Instructors serve as primary instructor for introductory, intermediate, and upper-level courses. May serve as an academic advisor for students and evaluate student course work. Hold office hours, attend required meetings, and review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.

Format: In-person instruction on Drew's Madison, New Jersey campus

Online courses may be offered in exceptional cases, but instructors are required to be domiciled in one of the following states: Alabama (AL), California (CA), Michigan (MI), New Jersey (NJ), New York (NY), Pennsylvania (PA), South Carolina (SC), Vermont (VT), or Washington D.C. (DC).

Recommended Education and Experience:

● Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in the relevant field or closely related discipline

● Demonstrated expertise in the subject area

● Previous teaching experience preferred

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills

● Commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education

 

Compensation:

$4,500 per 4-credit course
