We are seeking a creative and dynamic Content Specialist  to join our team. This role specializes in content creation, such as photography and videography to create compelling visual content that resonates with our audience and promotes our brand effectively across various digital platforms. Key responsibilities include creating and capturing engaging  brand content. The ideal candidate will have an integrated marketing mindset, leveraging marketing research and social trends across various channels to build awareness, momentum, and excitement for our brand.

Essential Functions

  1. Brand alignment and consistency.

  2. Photography & Videography: ideation and capture of content in support of the brand. The role requires both a skill set and passion for capturing content.

  3. Create & curate content (images and video) across all social media channels. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Untappd, Biggrove.com in collaboration with the Brand & Digital Marketing Manager and oversight from the Marketing Director & Art Director.

  4. Video and photo editing software  (and/or willingness to learn) that utilizes the Adobe Creative Cloud programs including but not limited to: Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro .

  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute social media campaign content. 

  6. Brand Engagement & Education: Become a subject matter expert on Big Grove Brewery and its related products, brands, and services. 

  7. Other Brand responsibilities: based on the nature of our business and each taproom location having its unique setup and identity, the needs of this role will vary both by location and through the calendar year. Must be adaptable to change. 

  8. Occasional weekend and evening hours as needed to support taproom events to support key brand initiatives and campaigns.

  9. Ability to execute high production photoshoots from concept to execution including but not limited to: sourcing models/talent, organizing locations, prop and equipment preparation, content capture, model direction, and editing.

Supervisory Responsibility
No. At this time this role will not have any direct reports. 

Work Environment
This position operates in a hospitality, public events, and brewery environment. 

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work 
This is a full-time position and hours of work and days may vary from week to week. Hours expected to be worked are between 40-45 hours per week. Some evenings and weekends are required to support special events, with the ability to adjust and flex hours to accommodate such events.

Location and Travel
Candidates must be local to the taproom area or within a short commute of the taproom, remote and/or relocation will not be considered. Travel is expected occasionally in this position. 

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. 1-3 years experience with content capture and creation.

  2. Photography and Videography experience required; a portfolio of work will be requested for review during the interview process.

  3. Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro or similar photo & video editing software experience required.  

  4. Ability and comfortability in directing models and staff as needed to execute on product and lifestyle photoshoot concepts.

  5. Experience working in the service industry is preferred.

  6. College degree preferred.
