Deposit Administrator II na John Marshall Bank

Description

 John Marshall Bank has an immediate opening for an experienced Deposit Administrator to support the Commercial Relationship Manager’s (CRM) in the Alexandria and Arlington Regions. In this role you will perform a variety of administrative functions necessary to support the relationship management of the combined deposit portfolio. This individual will work with the assigned Commercial Relationship Mangers and other internal departments to assist existing clients and help with onboarding new clients to the bank.

 In this role you will:

• Assist CRMs by providing administrative support for the existing combined deposit portfolio 
• Administer new account openings for existing and new clients to the bank 
• Perform a variety of client service functions such as updating bank account signers, address changes, CPA confirmations, closing accounts, placing stop payments, client research, ordering and cancelling debit cards
• Serve as a secondary contact for existing and potential clients. Coordinate correspondence and follow-up activities, both verbal and written, between clients and CRMs
• Prepare treasury management agreements for new treasury services and assist with treasury management quarterly audits 
• Assist with treasury services limit increases to include wire, ACH, mobile deposits and remote deposit service 
• Promote or cross-sells Bank products and services to existing and potential clients to help grow the bank’s deposit base and third-party revenue by providing quality referrals to CRMs. 
• Have a good working knowledge and understanding of the bank’s third-party revenue lines for new revenue opportunities 
• Managing the combined portfolio’s maturing CD and CDARS report 
• Assisting with deposit profitability models for maturing CDARS and all new and existing client deposit exception requests 
• Prepare Qwilr, Power Point or Word document proposals for new business opportunities 
• Assist with clearing portfolio deposit account exceptions
• Assist with preparing client reviews for annual and quarterly meetings 
• Assist with any client fraud paperwork and correspondence 
• Schedule treasury services set up, training meetings and working with treasury to assist with onboarding new treasury services
• Prepare Deposit Pro-Forma’s for new deposit opportunities
• Assist with Business Credit Card and Purchasing Card applications
• Work with deposit operations as needed for any BSA inquiries and other deposits inquiries  
• Assist the assigned CRMs with client, COI and prospective client events 
• Possess a thorough understanding of the Bank’s internal systems such as horizon, JMB intranet and other applications 

Requirements

Required: 

• Associates Degree 
• 5 years of experience in general banking  
• Familiarity with deposit accounts and treasury management services  
• Experience with excel spreadsheets, power point word documents and outlook 
• Self-starter with strong administrative and organizational skills and an eagerness to learn
• Adaptability and problem-solving approach necessary
• Excellent attention to detail, deadlines, and results
• Ability to stay focused while multi-tasking, often during tight deadlines on proposals or new account openings
• Strong communication skills and a superior ability to work effectively and cooperatively within a team environment

Preferred: 

• Bachelors Degree
• Positive attitude with a strong client service focus
