Description
We are seeking a professional, organized, and friendly Receptionist/HR Assistant to join our dynamic team in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and employees while providing administrative support to the HR department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to multitasking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional manner.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls and emails.
- Manage front desk area to ensure cleanliness and a welcoming environment.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Assist with visitor sign-ins and issuing access badges.
- Schedule interviews and set up required pre-employment appointments.
- Maintain and update employee records and personnel files in both physical and digital formats.
- Support employee relations by assisting with team member inquiries.
- Prepare HR-related reports and presentations as needed.
- Help plan and coordinate employee engagement events and trainings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and confidentiality regulations.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
