The Sr. Manager, Strategic Accounts & Growth Marketing plays a critical role in advancing both account growth and broader market expansion efforts for Associated Materials.
This hybrid role blends strategic account management with strategic marketing initiatives, driving revenue from national accounts while uncovering new opportunities for wallet share expansion, private label program development, and pull-through growth.
This leader acts as a force multiplier across sales and marketing, translating data into opportunity, and designing scalable strategies that grow accounts from transactional to transformational.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with strategic accounts, ensuring consistent alignment with business goals and account priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Marketing) to identify and capitalize on opportunities within key accounts.
- Develop comprehensive pull-through strategies to support strategic accounts in increasing Associated Materials' product adoption and driving market share growth.
Strategic Growth Marketing
- Identify and unlock growth opportunities across mid-size accounts through share-of-wallet analysis, segmentation strategies, and targeted marketing support.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to identify underpenetrated accounts and build custom growth roadmaps, elevating them into strategic accounts.
- Design playbooks and repeatable frameworks to guide account teams in cross-selling, upselling, and demand generation strategies.
Program Development & Optimization
- Design and optimize dealer programs that drive engagement, loyalty, and overall growth for ASCEND and other dealer initiatives.
- Analyze program performance and recommend improvements to enhance market share and profitability.
- Identify opportunities for innovations and efficiencies in onboarding and member support for dealer programs.
- Coordinate recurring customer feedback through meetings, surveys, and other channels to refine dealer program offerings.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee day-to-day activities associated with program success, including lead generation, monitoring member opportunity funnels, and improving close rates.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support for dealer program participants, addressing challenges proactively and enhancing user experience.
- Manage marketing accruals, including setup and tracking, for dealer program participants, ensuring alignment with budget objectives.
- Review and approve all dealer participant-created promotional materials to ensure adherence to brand and program guidelines.
Data-Driven Insights
- Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) for dealer programs and strategic accounts.
- Provide actionable insights to senior leadership, driving informed decision-making and alignment with business objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Finance, Legal, and IT teams to deliver high-quality support and content for strategic accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales teams to identify market trends and opportunities to expand Associated Materials' footprint.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 8--10 years of experience in marketing, strategy, or sales, preferably in building materials or related industries.
- Proven experience managing dealer programs and strategic accounts.

- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across departments and influence key stakeholders.
