 Summary/Objective

The Senior Human Resources Generalist-Recruiting seeks out professionals with the right combination of experience, education, and skills to fill a particular position. SHRG work with hiring managers to develop recruiting plans, manage office logistics, and ensure efficient communication within the team. They also oversee the organization of recruitment events and maintain records of applicants. Then, they publicize openings by posting them in appropriate outlets and work toward developing a pool of qualified individuals. Essential Functions

Responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment for the Clinic ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Additionally, oversee office management functions, including maintaining office supplies, coordinating schedules, ensuring a productive work environment, and managing office budgets.

Partner with hiring managers to create and execute a recruitment plan for current and future openings. Proactively build a network of candidates, which includes researching and identifying new sources for recruitment and attending local recruiting events.

Screen and source applicants to hiring managers while providing follow-up to candidates to ensure they remain engaged during the recruitment process. Communicate regularly with hiring managers to provide status updates and obtain feedback on the effectiveness of recruiting strategies. Manage the internal job posting and transfer process.

Schedule candidates for pre-employment testing and manage the background screening and reference checking process. Serve as the gatekeeper of Paylocity processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and employee information.

Provide technical support and update users in the applicant tracking system. Generate recruiting reports, including but not limited to recruiting costs and time-to-fill. Assist the Human Resources Manager with special projects and support HR office management tasks, such as organizing employee records and facilitating onboarding processes.

This job is primarily sedentary but does require the ability to travel to other locations to meet with staff and managers.

Lifting of no more than 10 pounds required.

Ability to operate a personal computer and use a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to multi-task and change priorities in a typically high stress environment.

Ability to problem-solve and use sound judgment.

Ability to work under stressful deadlines.

Travel
Some travel is expected for job fairs and other hiring events. 

Requirements

 Required Education and Experience 

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience of 4 years in human resources field.

Preferred Education and Experience

A minimum of three years’ recruitment experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word along with experience with an applicant tracking system, preferably Paylocity. Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills are required. Excellent critical thinking and judgment are needed as well as the demonstrated ability to build and sustain professional relationships. Must be adept at working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
