The purpose of this position is to provide the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Office of Communications and Congressional Affairs (OCCA) with program and project management support for the Congressional Affairs branch congressional inquiries team.
The Program Analyst is responsible for the office personnel coordination, funding and budget execution, agency tasker coordination, and leadership coordination support. Duties may include but are not limited to management and tracking of assigned office taskers, logistics coordination for off-site events and meetings, records management, general office support to leadership in personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the position will include but not limited to:
- Provide direct support to the Congressional Inquiries Team responsible for processing inquiries submitted to the agency by Congress for appropriate response.
- Provide studies, analyses, scenarios, and reports that advise the best actions as well as interpreting results from studies, analyses, scenarios, and reports.
- Apply mission level thinking for current and emerging projects/programs and translate stakeholder needs and expectations into statements assessing requirements.
- Perform complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models and/or systems related to project/program issues which require reports and recommended solutions.
- Analyze information from multiple sources to compile a complete and holistic solution, easily communicate recommendations and issues to staff and seniors that support the overall strategic plan.
- Monitor the Congressional Inquiries digital group mailbox and perform daily review and triage of correspondence received.
- Identify products and projects completed in its Monthly Progress and Status Report IAW CDRL A004.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- 3 to 10 years of experience/able to perform all functional duties independently.
- Knowledge and functional capability to proficiently operate Microsoft Office Products, Adobe Suite, SharePoint, Service Now and/or other task management systems.
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
- Capable of interacting professionally with all personnel.
- US Citizenship and Secret Clearance are required for this position.
Full-time Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $105,000/annual
Location: Fort Meade, MD 20755
