Summary of Position:
This role will manage and coordinates all midstream and wellsite facility construction activities related to Civitas operations; including onsite and team direction related to planning the construction of new facilities and pipelines; as well as construction activities related to existing locations when required. Assures all activities are done safely, timely, within Civitas standards and associated industry codes.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Assure construction team is meeting and exceeding all Civitas safety standards
- Assure all construction practices meet and/or exceed Civitas and industry standards/codes
- Manage a team that performs a variety of construction activities at wellsite and midstream locations, including pipelines associated with these locations
- Lead/manage contract crews and assure construction deadlines are met on all assigned projects
- Help track and manage equipment deliveries and inventories with associated facility engineer
- Help track and manage spend on projects with associated facility engineer
- Work in all weather conditions including rain, snow, mud, etc. – work is performed in hazardous driving and working conditions all seasons of the year
- Operate a vehicle safely in all weather conditions to drive to Civitas locations in rural/open range country
- Follow safe operating practices and maintain a safe working environment
- Manage associated documentation where needed.
- Work with all internal teams to assure needs are being met effectively and efficiently.
- Work with all regulatory teams to assure full compliance of associated assets.
- Establish, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Organizes and oversees the schedules, work, and productivity of the team.
- Manages their departments efficiently and in accordance with departmental and organizations goals.
- In accordance with policy and with the support of the department head, makes hiring and selection decisions for staffing.
- Provides performance feedback and completes evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- With the assistance of HR and the department head, handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Education & Experience:
- High School Degree or GED required.
- 8+ years of direct oil and gas operations and associated experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of people management experience preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of construction activities
- Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and meet goals and/or deadlines.
- Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Must be willing to travel to and work in any area as needed.
- Must be willing to work late hours and days off as needed
Travel & Additional Requirements:
- Location: Work is performed at a CIVI location Monday through Friday
- Schedule: traditional 40-hour workweek or alternative schedule of 9-hour workdays Monday through Thursday and 4-hour workdays on Friday, as business needs allow and with manager approval.
- Travel is required to other Civitas offices and field locations.

Base Pay Range: $115,000 - $130,000
