Job Description
The InterDigital AI Lab in Silicon Valley is looking for motivated Ph.D. students for internships in Deep Learning for Image and Video Processing.
The Lab works on novel applications of AI and machine learning for video and wireless applications. You won’t spend your time tweaking an obscure part of an ad or a social network here. You will develop proof-of-concepts, prototypes and research ideas that tie machine learning and AI technologies with a broad range of video and wireless technologies. You will get the opportunity to publish your work at leading conferences. Some of our recent work includes novel approaches to images and videos using neural networks, we develop platforms for automated development and testing of deep image compression (github.com/InterDigitalInc/CompressAI), as well as video feature coding for machine-to-machine communication (github.com/InterDigitalInc/CompressAI-Vision).
