Work Hours: Monday – Friday (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)
Memorial Day – Labor Day (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.)

In this role you will:
● Cut grass and weeds with mower. Trim edges of grass area.
● Rake, hoe and level soil to prepare for planting. Plant grass and sod.
● Remove snow and ice in parking areas and on sidewalks.
● Load and unload trash off trucks.
● Water and fertilize grass, seed and sod.
● Sweep shop areas and grounds.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions and around natural elements such as weeds, poison ivy, rodents, and snakes. They must be able to tolerate loud noise, equipment vibration, and exposure to substances like gasoline, engine exhaust, oil, fertilizer, and weed killer. Experience operating and maintaining lawn equipment—such as mowers, trimmers, and tractors—is required, along with the ability to follow safety protocols. A high school diploma (or equivalent), valid Class D driver’s license, and the ability to obtain an Illinois Department of Agriculture Operator License for pesticide application within one year are required.
