About the Role
As a Sales Intern, you’ll jump head-first into the world of software sales, supporting our Global and U.S. Sales Development leads, and collaborating broadly across teams including Marketing and Product. This opportunity is ideal for someone excited about a career in sales who wants hands-on experience working in Salesforce (SFDC), tracking leads, and learning foundational sales processes.
Position Details
- Part-time internship (10–20 hours per week)
- Hybrid role based in our Houston office (typically 1 day in office per week)
- Internship expected to run through the end of 2025
Responsibilities:
- Track every inbound web generated lead to ensure proper tasks are created in Salesforce, enabling efficient follow-up by SDRs.
- Assist with day to day manual tracking of prospects and contacts within the K12 education space.
- Help ensure Salesforce metrics—pipeline, lead status, data accuracy—are properly maintained and up to date.
- Begin training on entry level sales motions: from lead qualification to outreach coordination.
- Collaborate with the Sr. Director, Global Sales Development and the U.S. Sales Development Manager to support sales initiatives.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Product, and other departments to align lead activity with campaign and product intelligence.

- Organized, detail oriented, and proactive: Capable of tracking multiple leads and prospects with care.
- Curious and coachable: You’re excited to take on entrylevel sales tasks and build skills.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a college or university.
- Comfortable using basic CRM tools; Salesforce knowledge a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working independently and managing time effectively within a parttime schedule.
- Genuine interest in software, K12 education, and developing a sales career.
