Position Summary:

The Logistics Center Operation Supervisor will support returns/reverse operations in the Distribution Center optimizing operations and provide customer service excellence and maintaining data entry and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the point of contact for customer relations with both internal and external clients and vendors
  • Support SOP/Work Instructions maintenance and ensure operational best practices in line with customer requirements as well as ensure operational SOP compliance
  • Manage daily operations including but not limited to inventory movement, booking, tracking, and tracing of product to end customer resolution
  • Provide excellent customer service in all aspects from submission to sales to scheduling sold loads to maintain compliance with SOP and KPI
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement cost-effective operational solutions to continuously improve efficiency and enhance service levels and quality
  • Communicate daily with customers, carriers, and internal staff
  • Maintain essential account documentation with up to date information and ensure that it meets or exceeds expectations for timely communication and fulfillment of KPI expectations
  • Monitor account issues and communicate/liaison with management and inventory team to implement/drive solutions / participate in PI and preparation with inventory team
  • Analyze service for actions or recommendations for business improvement and recommend when needed changes in current processes
  • Report as needed (Re-box, Aging QC, overages, BGOODS load building, inventory tracking)
  • Ensure the accuracy of data entry into WMP, NERP, Cello and other systems as needed
  • Monitor trends and report changes to management for action
  • Perform other duties assigned as needed
  • Ensure timely communication by responding to HQ, RHQ, clients, and management (Operations, Site, and Branch Managers) within 24 hours.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Required; Bachelor Degree Preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Outlook
  • Self-motivated and works well under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects, while paying close attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate appropriate phone and email etiquette with internal and external customers; strong customer service, people skills
  • Experience with logistics reverse operations preferred
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
  • Warehouse knowledge preferred

 

Physical Demands:

  • The position requires the ability to talk and hear while performing the duties of this job.
  • The position requires the ability to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. 
  • The position requires dexterity to write and use computer keyboard and mouse.
  • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products, materials and supplies, up to 50 pounds.

Your base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This allows you to progress as you grow and develop within the position. Your base pay will depend on your skills, education, qualifications, experience, and location.
