Job Summary:
Windsor Salt's Evaporation Facility in Windsor, Ontario, has an opening for an Engineering Co-op Student for the upcoming Winter 2026 term. The successful applicant will provide technical support to the Engineering and management team at Windsor Salt.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor project assignments
- Follow compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans) and report regularly on project status
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
- Assist Project Engineers in matters relating to the selection of new equipment, material substitution and prescheduled alterations or repairs as required.
Knowledge. Skills, and Abilities:
- Safety-conscious team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
In addition, this individual will:
- Be registered in an accredited University Engineering Co-op Program
- Have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of SAP and AutoCAD would be considered an asset
- Mandatory G/G2 Driver's License is required for this position
