Position Duties
Record updates & ownership
Perform bulk field updates (Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Cases, custom objects).
Reassign record ownership based on territory rules, round-robin lists, or manager requests.
Normalize and enrich fields (name formatting, phone/email standards, picklist alignment).
Merge duplicates following dedupe rules and approval steps; document merges.
Data imports & uploads
Prepare CSV templates; validate required fields, IDs, and picklist values.
Execute imports using Data Import Wizard / Data Loader / dataloader.io.
Map fields accurately; run test loads in sandbox before production.
Reconcile results: review success/error logs, fix failures, and re-run partials.
Ticket queue management
Triage new requests, clarify requirements, confirm urgency/impact, and assign to self or route.
Work tickets to SLA (acknowledge, resolve, or escalate); keep requestors updated.
Tag/track work types (ownership, data load, dedupe, report fix) for reporting.
Data quality & governance
Run scheduled data quality checks (missing required fields, stale owners, invalid emails).
Apply validation rules and duplicate rules (as configured) and report recurring breaks.
Maintain and reference a data dictionary and field usage notes.
Documentation & enablement
Write “How-to” snippets for common updates and upload playbooks.
Log changes and outcomes on tickets; attach import logs and before/after counts.
Update runbooks and checklists as processes improve.
Security & compliance
Follow least-privilege practices; never change profiles/permissions without approval.
Mask/delete sensitive data in files; store artifacts in approved locations.
Respect change-management steps (sandbox ? test ? production with approvals).
Reporting & monitoring
Maintain dashboards for ticket SLAs, backlog, and data quality KPIs.
Provide weekly rollups: volume processed, error rates, recurring root causes.
Process improvement
Propose quick wins (list views, report tweaks, Flow-based automations for repetitive updates).
Identify upstream data issues and suggest fixes at source (forms, integrations).
Minimum Qualifications
Detail-oriented and methodical-you triple-check before hitting “Import.”
Queue-driven and reliable-you like working tickets to SLA and closing the loop.
Clear communicator-you ask great clarifying questions and keep requestors updated.
Data hygiene champion-you care about clean, consistent, deduped records.
Process minded-you document steps so others can repeat them.
Trustworthy with data-you respect permissions and change-management in sandbox ? prod.
What You Have
Database basics (Taken a course related to Database in their Undergrad)
OR
Salesforce basics: comfort with Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Cases, and custom objects.
Spreadsheet skills: CSV prep, data cleanup (trim, split, normalize), VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivots.
Nice to Have
Ticketing experience: Jira, Zendesk, or Service Cloud; prioritizing by impact/urgency.
Professional habits: versioned mappings, sandbox test runs, and clear documentation.

Pay range: $20.00 /hr (The pay rate is an estimate. Offers are based on skill set, experience, and level of expertise in the required field. )
