Job Summary: We are seeking to hire one Receptionist / Front Desk full-time who will assist our healthcare professionals. We need someone 5 days a week for our front desk and as needed coverage. Be able to work every other Saturday 8 - 2. If you work on a Saturday, you will have a day off during the week. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload in a fast-paced pediatric office environment. Familiarity with EMR eClinicalWorks, very helpful
Receptionist / Front Desk Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and colleagues.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain organized records.
- Familiarity with medical practice management software, electronic health records (EHR), and other relevant technologies.
- A friendly and professional demeanor, with the ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and patience.
- The ability to address patient issues and resolve administrative challenges efficiently.
- Accuracy in handling patient information, scheduling appointments, and processing payments.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures is helpful.

Requirements
Receptionist / Front Desk Duties/Responsibilities:
- Providing a warm welcome to patients, answering inquiries, managing appointment scheduling, both in-person and over the phone, and coordinating with medical staff.
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient information, including demographic details, medical history, and insurance information.
- Answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Collecting co-pays, processing payments, and assisting with billing inquiries. Be familiar with Availity and Navinet.
- Communicating with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
