Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our team, ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and management of materials within our manufacturing facility. This is an opportunity to be part of a company committed to sustainability and innovation, where your skills will directly contribute to the delivery of eco-friendly buses needed for cleaner transport.

Starting salary: $20.00/hour. Onsite work required, 40 hours/week, 10-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, with potential for overtime on Friday and Saturday.

What You Will Do

  • Lives and role models the company values and culture at all times
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials.
  • Coordinate with production teams to understand material needs and schedules.
  • Select and prepare materials for production processes efficiently and safely.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and products as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and assist with stock replenishment efforts
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards in all handling and storage practices.

What You Need to be Successful

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in a material handling or warehouse role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and software such as ERP/WMS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Must be certified or become certified to use forklift equipment
  • Capable of meeting the physical requirements:
    • Regularly lift up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 25 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs, standing, walking for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks
