Blaster Trainee / Laborer na Schlouch Inc.

Schlouch Inc. has been Eastern PA’s leading site/civil contractor since 1983 and is still growing! We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a reliable person to join our team as a Blaster Trainee / Laborer.  The Blaster Trainee / Laborer position will work with the Blaster to layout and load blasts on residential and commercial construction and quarry sites with-in a 70-mile radius of Reading, PA.

The Blaster Trainee / Laborer position has excellent potential for growth and advancement and is well suited to the individual looking to grow their career in the trade industry. Mentoring and training will be provided to the ideal candidate.

The ideal Blaster Trainee / Laborer candidate will be able to do or learn the following:

• Train to become proficient in all areas of blasting techniques
• Assist Blaster with daily tasks, site security, pattern layouts, set up, reporting
• Use basic math and read a tape measure
• Operate skid loader or backhoe
• Read blueprints
• Lift 50+ pounds
• Pass an ATF background clearance
• MSHA certification a plus
• CDL with HAZMAT endorsement a plus but not required
• Blasters License a plus

Salary Range: $23.00 to $30.00 per hours, based on experience.
