 POSITION SUMMARY:

The International Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing inbound international sales inquiries, and supporting the company’s global operations. This role will focus on providing tailored solutions for international relocation and shipping clients, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate is results-driven, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced global logistics environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate and qualify international sales leads through inbound inquiries, referrals, and proactive outreach.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing international clients.
  • Provide consultative sales support by assessing client needs and recommending tailored international moving and logistics solutions.
  • Collaborate with Armstrong’s operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure accurate pricing, proposals, and service delivery.
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations for international moving and logistics projects.
  • Track and manage sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Meet or exceed assigned international sales targets and KPIs.
  • Stay up-to-date on global shipping trends, customs regulations, and compliance requirements to effectively advise clients.
  • Represent Armstrong professionally in all customer interactions, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, International Business, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of inside sales experience, ideally in international logistics, relocation, or freight forwarding.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping and relocation processes, including customs regulations and documentation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Multilingual skills (a plus).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to use a phone and headset for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment (e.g., keyboard, mouse, telephone).
  • Visual acuity to read computer screens, documents, and reports.
  • May occasionally need to lift or move items up to 10 pounds.
