Requirements

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Customer Service, the Parts Specialist will join a team of two other employees and process customer parts sales orders and assist with the inquiry of parts via phone, email, fax, EDI, and other systems.

We are expanding a great team due to increased sales throughout our organization. Our preference is to find a candidate that is comfortable with high volume order processing and parts experience. If you have this experience, you are highly encouraged to apply directly to this opportunity.


Duties / Responsibilities:

•Aid customers who are looking to order parts for their machines.

•Process quotes and sales orders for customers who want to purchase parts.

•Assist customers in choosing the correct shipping method for orders.

•Communicate with parts and shipping departments to assist customers with tracking shipments and order status.

•Work with purchasing department on getting correct stocking level on parts.

•Assist customers in identifying the correct parts through use of the spare parts manuals and drawings.

•Initiate a Return Goods Authorization when requested by customers.

•Ensure that customer’s problems are escalated to help desk technicians when needed.

•Additional duties as assigned.


Required Skills / Abilities:

•Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks, with a customer-focused sense of urgency, in a fast-paced environment.

•Experience in researching parts, examining schematics, and working with customers to get the correct part in a timely manner.

•Experience with Prelude parts system a plus.

•Self-starter, able to work independently.

•Ability to work with other departments in finding resolutions to customer issues.

•Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

•Working knowledge of MS Office with intermediate Excel skills.

•High school diploma or equivalent required, Business degree preferred but not required.

•Knowledge of process and equipment a plus.

•Bilingual skills with Spanish would be highly preferred.


Education and Experience:

•At least three to five years of related experience required.

•Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
