Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Advanced Practice Provider – Obstetrics & Surgical Gynecology to join our established, collaborative, and collegial team of providers. Valley Women’s Healthcare Clinic is dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to the residents of King County.
About the position:
• Schedule: 4/10-hour days, no nights, no weekends
• No afterhours call
• Initially, this position will be mostly surgical assist for general Gynecology, Urogynecology and Gynecologic Oncology providers. Over time, this position will be largely clinic-focused (both Obstetrics and Gynecology) with some surgical assist responsibilities
• Typical clinic volumes: 13-15 patients per day
• Support staff: RN Triage/Advice, dedicated Surgery Schedulers
• Practitioners: Multidisciplinary group comprised of Physicians, Laborists, PAs, ARNPs, and CNMs
Qualifications:
• BLS Certification
• Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
• Prior surgical assisting experience required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Two (2) years of experience strongly preferred
• Robotic experience preferred
