The Order Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately reviewing and preparing for release work orders for the door and pre-finish shops. Knowledge of OrePac systems, processes, available inventory and doors in general is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a Full-Time position. Normal days of work are Mondays through Fridays; availability may vary. Hours may need to be extended or adjusted at any time, with or without notice, to meet the needs of the organization.

•Review and process incoming work orders with a high level of attention to detail. Ensure allrequired options are selected and make necessary inventory swaps are applicable. Review workorder for any customer-provided notes for additional changes. Complete work orders for releasein a timely manner.

•Review printed work orders from BisTrack to ensure accuracy and work with the sales team tomake appropriate changes as needed.

•Organize and distribute work orders to the correct personnel.

•Assist the sales team by answering customer questions through various communicationchannels; in-person, phone, and e-mail.

•Partner with the Corporate eCommerce team to communicate when changes or updates areneed to kits and BOMs to ensure accurate inventory parts are being pulled and populated inwork orders submitted through Marketplace or entered in through BisTrack.

•*Work with the Operations Manager, Door Shop Manager/Supervisor/Lead, and/or Paint ShopManager/Supervisor/Lead to schedule released work orders according to capacity andmanpower.

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Individual must be detail-oriented. Ability to process high-volume with a high level of accuracy in a timely manner while accomplishing other tasks throughout the day.

• Ability to effectively communicate to all personnel members, including external customers in a clear and concise manner through various communication channels.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Ability to develop strong interpersonal working relationships and work in a team environment.

• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

• Commitment to and demonstration of high ethical standards governing professional behavior and interactions.

• Proficiency in using a personal computer accompanied by a strong aptitude for technical applications.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Excellent time management, detail orientation, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the need to re-prioritize throughout the day.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience; or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones. The work environment is generally quiet.

OrePac’s safety policy requires the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated safety-sensitive areas while on OrePac property. OrePac will provide required PPE to employees. OrePac employees who handle or deliver OrePac products while not on OrePac property are required to adhere to OrePac’s safety policy and use the required PPE necessary for their specific role.
