About the Role:
The District Manager will lead and direct Fannie May store operations while enhancing the consumer experience at multi-store locations. Responsibilities will include delivering a best-in-class consumer experience, hiring, behavioral training, talent assessment, visual merchandising, delivering financial growth performance, inventory control and advancing profitability.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive performance of stores through consumer experience, increase KPI growth, including tracking, reporting and analysis
- Ability to deliver on corporate initiatives while focusing on consumer experience and demands
- Effectively communicate results and action plans to store managers, teams and collaborate between stores, retail management and business partners
- Training and execution of store visual directives & merchandising initiatives
- Hire, attract and retail talent; Lead a team of store managers through ongoing training and development. Motivate, coach and strengthen store managers through retail training guidelines
- Assist in executing and delivering compliance to SOP’s: store operation manuals, policies and forms, ordering methods and inventory controls
- Responsible to uphold and maintain food safety, compliance with product line rotation and quality assurance requirements
- Assist in all new store start up activities as assigned.
- Grow a portfolio of profitable stores through continual analysis, follow up and asset protection
Who we are looking for:
- Three years of progressive management experience in retail leadership and operations, preferably multi-unit and with food experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
- Ability to travel 75% of the time with overnights, flexible to meet needs of the business
- Ability to work with data and develop effective presentations
- Excel and Power point skills
