About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team at a pivotal moment in Assort’s growth.
You’ll be the heartbeat of our San Francisco HQ, ensuring the space runs smoothly, delivering an outstanding experience for employees, candidates, and guests, and playing a key role in shaping our culture as we grow.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role. One day you might be restocking supplies and coordinating with vendors, the next you could be hosting an in-office event or guiding a new hire through their first day. You’ll have significant ownership, move quickly, and see the impact of your work every single day. What You’ll Do
Run the space: Oversee daily office operations, manage supplies and vendors, handle mail and facilities issues, and keep the space stocked and welcoming.
Be the face of the office: Manage visitor and candidate experience, greet guests warmly, and lead office tours.
Foster culture: Plan and execute events, celebrations, and team-building activities that bring people together.
Support recruiting: Partner with the Talent team to coordinate interviews, monitor onsite timing, manage candidate scheduling changes, and assist with new-hire onboarding.
Pitch in on admin: Provide light administrative support, including document formatting, printing, and routine correspondence.
Maintain a strong presence: Be in office five days per week from 8 am - 6 pm, with the ability to stay later as needed
