The Safety Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the company is compliant with all third-party safety and compliance requirements, OSHA and MSHA record keeping, periodic safety training and assistance with company safety programs and policy administration.


This is an on-site position based in Salt Lake City, UT. Candidates must be able to commute Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.  


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Third party safety compliance site monitoring, maintaining customer site access approval at all times
  • Company safety applications administration, employee set up and reporting for employee engagement and task completion
  • Assist in daily safety video delivery application and video content creation
  • Drug and alcohol testing administration
  • First Aid and Personal Protective Equipment purchasing and inventory monitoring
  • Assist employees with daily PPE and basic information requests
  • Oversee First Responder Program including scheduling training, managing supplies and communications to company First Responders
  • Conduct periodic safety training as needed for employees
  •  Administrative assistance with daily Safety Department and regulatory record keeping, accounts payable, filing and data entry as needed
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years previous experience in similar or related position 
  • Current OSHA 501 (General Industry) or ability to obtain within 1st year 
  • Ability to become a First Responder and CPR certified within 1st year
  • Attention to detail and excellent observation skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Clean MVR (No more than 1 moving violation under the age of 25, and no more than 2 if over the age of 25
