Daikin Applied is now hiring for a Manufacturing Services Engineering Intern in Faribault, MN!

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Services Engineering Intern to join our dynamic Engineering team. Location: Faribault, MN in office 5 days per week

Timeline: This Internship opportunity is for May–August 2026

What you will do:

• Work with an assigned engineer to research and analyze data related to the production of Daikin’s products
• Design/improve/test production processes or systems under the direction of the assigned engineer
• Work with assigned engineers to design/implement tools and processes intended to improve the quality and efficiency of the production operation

 Minimum Qualifications:

• Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
• Experience with Solidworks or related CAD software
• Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Faribault North Factory 

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $24/hr - $27/hr. This represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
