Overview:
Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is a premier nonprofit organization that provides a broad range of services to people of all ages and backgrounds in Westchester County.
We are seeking a full-time Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting strategic and operational functions across WJCS programs by managing individual accounts in accordance with OPWDD (Office for People With Developmental Disabilities) guidelines, tracking program and billing activity, and assisting with financial and performance reporting. This is a detail-oriented role requiring a strong ability to work with data, financial systems (including Sage Intacct), and regulatory processes. The salary range is $60,000 - $63,000.
Responsibilities:
As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and reconcile individual accounts for OPWDD-funded services, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation related to service utilization, billing, and funding sources.
- Liaise with program staff to ensure alignment between service delivery and billing documentation.
- Assist in monitoring program activities to ensure services are delivered in accordance with OPWDD and agency standards.
- Support preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
- Run and analyze financial and programmatic reports from Sage Intacct and other systems to support strategic planning and operational decisions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports on service utilization, billing trends, and funding performance.
- Identify and flag anomalies, trends, or opportunities in data that could inform program or financial improvements.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Strategic Initiatives, finance, and program leadership to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Provide data and analysis to support grant proposals, reporting requirements, and organizational planning.
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
- Familiarity with OPWDD regulations, individual accounts, and Medicaid billing processes is a strong plus; OPWDD experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting/ERP software preferred.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
