Description
Be a part of a growing team at the forefront of beverage dispensing technology. The Lab Validation Technician will support the R&D Engineering teams by testing and validating beverage dispensing equipment in a hands-on lab environment. This role is responsible for building and setting up test stands, running test cycles, collecting and documenting performance data, and reporting results to the engineering team. The technician will also assist with troubleshooting equipment, identifying root causes, and collaborating with engineers to refine testing methods and ensure products meet specification standards.

As a Lab Validation Technician, you’ll directly contribute to ensuring our products meet performance and quality standards while supporting new product development. Role and Responsibilities
- Assemble, configure, and maintain lab equipment, machines, fixtures, and test systems.
- Set up plumbing and electrical connections, including connecting valves, timers, air, and water lines.
- Perform basic wiring tasks (e.g., strip wire, crimp terminals, make simple electrical connections).
- Execute test procedures and cycles, carefully recording and reporting accurate data.
- Handle and move testing materials, including syrup boxes (up to 60 lbs) and 5-gallon pressure kegs.
- Use hand tools to assemble, install, and adjust test equipment.
- Troubleshoot testing issues and work with engineers to identify root causes and adjustments.
- Keep testing areas organized, clean, and safe; ensure tools and equipment are stored properly.
- Maintain detailed records of test setups, results, and observations for engineering review.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers and lab team members, communicating findings clearly.
- Support continuous improvements to testing processes, methods, and documentation.
Requirements
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of technician, lab, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude, with ability to work on fluid, valve, and dispensing systems.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and testing cycles with accuracy and consistency.'Ability to lift and move up to 60 lbs as required.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented and reliable, with the ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines.
