About the Role:

The IAM Governance Analyst ensures IT compliance with security policies and federal guidelines. At this level, the analyst applies a moderate understanding of governance frameworks and audit requirements while participating in the creation and refinement of policies.

Responsibilities: 

  • Execute exception reviews on a daily, weekly, and monthly cadence.
  • Create, deploy, and manage User Access Reviews (UARs).
  • Compile and provide evidence for third-party auditors related to SOX audits.

  • Execute ad hoc reporting and support various audit tasks as they arise.

  • Provide feedback and/or assistance in the creation and updating of existing Security policies and ITGC control language.

  • Collaborate with the team to improve governance processes and documentation.


What Success Looks Like:


Success in an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Governance Analyst role is defined by how effectively you manage, govern, and improve identity and access controls across an organization while ensuring compliance, security, and operational efficiency

  • Complete, accurate, and timely data for audit, thorough review of secondary controls and ITGCs
  • AM systems and processes are consistently audit-ready. You can quickly provide evidence of access reviews, provisioning/de-provisioning, and policy enforcement.
  • Deep understanding of IAM tools; configurations and workflows are optimized.
  • Gaps in IAM processes or tools are identified and improved.


Candidate Requirements:


Technical Skills:

  • 1+ years of experience in same or similar field.
  • Moderate understanding of audit requirements and security compliance frameworks.
  • Knowledge of in-scope system workings, such as user provisioning, workflows, and responsible Points of Contact (POCs).
  • Ability to conduct thorough reviews of access and exceptions, ensuring compliance.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate findings effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate and provide feedback in team settings.
  • Willingness to contribute to process improvements and policy updates.

Compensation and Benefits:


Compensation range: $88,000 - $90,000
