Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Development: Manage the sales staff and Business Development Center (BDC), including scheduling, training, and personalized coaching to build on individual strengths and address weaknesses. Conduct daily sales meetings, one-on-ones, and ensure all CRM activities (calls, texts, emails) are executed promptly to drive results.
- Customer Experience Excellence: Oversee every customer journey to ensure a positive, trustworthy experience from start to finish. Desk all car deals, monitor sales staff interactions, provide price and payment quotes using our proven process, and personally engage with every visiting customer to secure retail agreements and produce clean, fundable deals.
- Inventory and Merchandising Mastery: Lead new car inventory ordering and strategy using tools like Conquest to analyze market competition, pricing, stocking models, and forecasts – optimizing for age, color, and trim. Manage pre-owned inventory with Stockwave for sourcing, appraisals, market day supply analysis, and action plans, enforcing a strict 60-day turn policy through timely wholesaling.
- Operations and Lot Management: Supervise lot management and detail staff to maintain pristine point-of-sale areas, including vehicle parking, cleanliness, weed control, and proper merchandising (comments, pics, prices, banners, and York tags). Ensure all new and used vehicles are up to date on "needs attention" items, collaborate with the marketing director on specials, and approve/deny pre-owned recon repair orders while adhering to the CDJR CPO program for a robust certified pre-owned selection.
- Strategic Oversight: Utilize VAuto or equivalent inventory management systems to keep the department stocked and primed for output goals. Champion a culture of honesty, compliance, and high performance, ensuring all activities align with our customer-centric ethos.
What We're Looking For – Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram experience required, with a background as a Sales Manager, F&I Manager, and/or Used Car Manager.
- A talented, passionate, and enthusiastic team leader with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the self-motivation to drive results independently while inspiring others.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills, with the ability to work flexible hours in a high-energy, fast-paced setting.
- Proven expertise in inventory strategy, CRM tools, and producing trustworthy deals that prioritize customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Must be 18 years or older, authorized to work in the US, and willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.
