About the Department
**Monday-Thursday, 10-hour shifts**
Responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repair of automotive and construction equipment and the shop and equipment yard; does related work as required.
Position Duties
- Performs janitorial work in the offices and shop of the Road and Bridge Shop;
- Maintains lawn and sprinkler system;
- Services cars, trucks and off-road equipment, including changing and repairing tires;
- Delivers and retrieves parts, equipment and other materials;
- Drives trucks, loaders and sanders in adverse weather conditions;
- Performs related work as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience/Training:
- Graduation from high school or GED; and
- One (1) years’ experience in basic maintenance of automotive and construction equipment; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Commercial Driver’s License Class A II with tanker endorsement minimum issued by the State of Montana within first six (6) months of hire.
