Aurologistics LLC is a division of Aurobindo Pharma USA, Inc., our logistics (3PL) Distribution Center in East Windsor. Aurologistics is housed in a 565,000 square foot Distribution Center comprised of an automated warehouse, distribution, manufacturing and packaging operations of Aurobindo's products. 

 

This role is onsite at our East Windsor, New Jersey Distribution Center. 

Job Overview:

The Logistics, Licensing,Trade & Compliance Specialist will ensure that Commercial shipments of drug products and intermediates are delivered securely, reliably and cost-effectively while meeting relevant compliance requirements. This role will build and manage an infrastructure to effectively manage logistics, distribution, import/export, and trade compliance across a complex supply chain spanning multiple continents.

This role will also work with our 3rd party service provider that assisting in licensing for all entities, Aurobindo, Aurologistics, Eugia, and others

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for reviewing the import documentation and transportation requirements.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the ACE import template to ensure proper entries by brokers.
  • Work with Aurobindo India Supply Chain on manufacturing site changes to update ACE data on API or packaging sites.
  • Collaborate with brokers and Regulatory Affairs on USDA/FDA/CPB requests for information regarding entries that are on hold.
  • Partner with APL India logistics team on project to manage/ consolidate  import documentation in either OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) or other software program.
  • Assess potential cost savings opportunity to bring brokerage activities in house.
  • Create and update customs and regulatory policy, documentation and processes.
  • Support and train staff on regulations, policies and best practices.
  • Review and update customs documentation, including declarations and coding.
  • Cultivate relations with government and customs entities to encourage communication.
  • Lead, evaluate and make recommendations based on audits and identified risks.
  • Responsible for expediting urgent export samples for customer complaints or FDA sample requests.
Qualifications - Skills & Requirements:
  • Comply with all requirements for Custom Border Protection for imports
  • Work with Global Trade Compliance Standards and Assurance team to develop and maintain import control and other import and duty management/U.S., FTZ, related standards and procedures. To Design and upgrade related training materials.
  • Collaborate with FTZ administrators and monitor compliance with reporting and record keeping requirements.
  • Routinely review and rationalize FTZ activities (include new materials on a timely manner and decide on terminating activities, if wanted)
  • Coordinate applicable post entry activities and lead prior disclosure and or voluntary disclosure efforts relating to exports/FTZ, if required.
  • Assist on FTZ audits.
  • Work with Global Trade Management systems, like SAP, GTS, Oracle, and integration point to ensure all export and duty management/FTZ related data is maintained and accurate and that processes are correct.
  • Benchmark with other companies on import FTZ practices helping to ensure that Aurobindo and programs represent world class practices.
  • Represent the company in trade organizations in front of government agencies as required, oversee external consultants/contractors and managed related budget.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or equivalent
